The Steeplechase Cancer Center at Somerset Medical Center is one of the only facilities in the Northeast - and only one of a handful in the country - to offer a new state-of-the-art technology that provides the most precise and fastest radiation therapy to target and destroy tumors.

The center now offers Knife-Less Surgery with the Novalis Tx. This technology uses radiation beams instead of surgical blades to treat tumors such as brain, spine, lung, liver and prostate.

Performed on an outpatient basis, the procedure is painless and in most cases lasts just minutes, getting patients quickly back to their daily routines.
