The fourth annual Steeplechase Distance Run includes a 25K fall marathon prep and a 5K run/walk. The event will attract more than 1,000 runners from New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. All courses are USATF certified and run through scenic neighborhoods and landscapes providing enjoyable routes that runners of all ages and experience levels will enjoy. Participants are encouraged to run/walk in honor or in memory of loved ones. Proceeds are earmarked for education programs at The Steeplechase Cancer Center. SMC staff will be available to answer questions on cancer prevention.

$48 by 9/27 (USATF & SMC Family $45)
$55 after 9/27 and on race day.
5K Run/Walk:
$22 by 9/27 (USATF & SMC Family $20.)
$25 after 9/27 and on race day.

The Steeplechase Distance Run benefits The Steeplechase Cancer Center at Somerset Medical Center. The $28 million outpatient facility houses the Sanofi-aventis U.S. Breast Care Program, radiation oncology services, infusion therapy, the medical center's research team, oncologists' offices, a resource library, nutritional counseling, complementary medicine services and the Sanofi-aventis U.S. Wellness Boutique.
